I offer a brief description of each site within the tool box but I want to give an extra shout out to a few here. I find Dubai UAE Fashionista offers great practical resources to aspiring fashion designers with pattern info, illustration tips, and great links while Butter Hot Shoes, Mahryska’s Daily Dose and Tina Yum’s What Keeps You Busy and My Fash Diary feature lots of local designers and events with regular updates of the fashion world at large. Hellwa Fashion is also one of my regular reads because it is distinctly Dubai and the editor, a friend, is dedicated to her readers and the local design community. For a cutting edge blend of East and West Mullet ponders music, art, fashion and design for us and VICE as has given their seal of approval. I could go on but where’s the fun in that?
